The Finnish Education Group, in short FEG, was founded in 2011. FEG offers research based solutions in the development of physical, social and digital learning environments.
We have been research partners in RYM SHOK Indoor environments project (2011-2015) and Inlearn research project (2017-2019). The research results were summarized in our publication, Guidelines for modern, built learning environments Cookbook 2.0. It serves as the foundation for our product design and consultancy work. Currently, CookBook 2.0 is available in Finnish, Russian and English languages.
In 2019, we started to build a network of academic experts to facilitate possibilities for Universities to join our coordinated international projects.
In the Ubiko project (2013), the effects of a built environment on learning was studied at the teacher training school in Oulu Finland.
Based on the research results, the whole school was remodeled the next year. The project has been adopted as a model for Finnish developmental projects in the field.
Tukemo learning environment is a part of the teacher school in Oulu, which was designed to aid teaching classes with chilren at more challenging ages.
The effects of different light temperatures were also a subject of study here.

Minerva Plaza learning center at the Educational faculty of the University of Helsinki. It is both physically and digitally adative learning environment. Minerva is a co-design with professor Kirsti Lonka.
This project is a remodelling of an old soviet era school for MADAD Azerbaijan The modernization process was based on the Ubiko project model.

The project also included remodeling traffic arrangements at the Hospital campus to adopt to our UniverCity concept.
Helsinki Business College modernization project. The new design advokates circular economy thinking, enhances digitalization processes, teamwork and learning experiences.

The school design was based on the Ubiko concept, which we also introduced to local architecs.
In association with Polar Partners, we designed the pivate International Finnish School in Georgia. The Finnish International School Georgia opened in fall 2019.
This project is about building Gambia's first University of Science, Enginering and Technology campus. The project plan facilitates a modern urban environment with enhanced ecological and social solutions.
