Harvester driver training in Russia seminar in Petrozavodsk
The seminar hold on the 12th of December in Petrozavodsk, the Republic
of Karelia, gathered a big amount of participants from interested groups. Altogether 80 representatives from harvesting enterprises of the
republic, forest machine producers, ministries and forest training organi-
sations took part in the seminar. The seminar was opened by the Minister of Industry and Natural Resources of the RK Denisov S.I.
Among the issues discussed at the seminar were the results of the
analysis on the needs in training and a new strategy for organisation of
harvester driver training in Karelia. Ponsse and John Deer represented
their harvester simulators, training programmes for forwarder and harvester operators and the activities of the companies in Russia.
